- Phone number — used solely to send you flight deal SMS alerts you have opted into.
- Travel preferences — home airport, destination preferences, loyalty program point balances, and date flexibility settings. This information is used only to match you with relevant flight deals.
Information collected automatically
- Usage data — page views, clicks, and general usage patterns collected via standard web server logs and analytics to improve the service.
- Device and browser data — browser type, operating system, and IP address, collected for security and operational purposes.
Information we do not collect
- We do not collect or store payment card numbers or bank account details.
- We do not purchase or sell personal data to third parties.
- We do not track your activity across other websites.
3. How We Use Your Information
We use the information we collect to:
- Authenticate your account and keep it secure.
- Match your travel preferences against flight deals and send SMS alerts when a strong match is found.
- Deliver transactional messages (e.g., login links, account notices).
- Improve our deal-scoring algorithms and service quality.

4. SMS Messaging
By providing your phone number and opting in, you consent to receive automated SMS flight deal alerts from GateReady. Message frequency varies based on deal availability (typically 0–2 messages per week). Standard message and data rates may apply.
- To opt out: Reply STOP to any message, or toggle SMS alerts off in your profile settings. You will receive a confirmation and no further messages.
- To opt back in: Reply START or re-enable SMS in your profile.

5. Data Sharing and Disclosure
We do not sell, trade, or rent your personal information. We may share limited data only in these circumstances:
- Service providers — trusted third parties that help us operate (e.g., Twilio for SMS, Supabase for authentication, Vercel for hosting). These parties access data only as needed to perform services on our behalf.

- Business transfer — if GateReady is acquired or merges with another company, your information may be transferred as part of that transaction.
6. Data Retention
We retain your account information for as long as your account is active. You may request deletion of your account and associated data at any time by emailing support@gateready.io. We will fulfill deletion requests within 30 days, except where retention is required by law.
